Tweak (157) - A text to world connection I found in tweak is that no matter what you put yourself through its good to stick to your morals and not change yourself for others. Nic is a young drug addict and although living on the streets and spending his free time thinking about when he is going to get his next fix is not anyone's ideal situation it also doesn't make him a "bad" person. Throughout the book Nic basically stays the same person, although always growing and expanding his mindset he doesn't completely change what he is actually about. I think that's something everyone can learn from, it's great to always be learning and forming new opinions but you shouldn't be changing what you initially believe in. Many people say "Stick to your guns" and I agree, everyone is entitled to their own opinion and changing yours just to be like someone else isn't staying true to yourself.
